Get Your K-ETA Approval Before Heading to Korea
Hey there, travelers! If you’re planning a trip to South Korea, don’t forget to secure your travel authorization before hopping on your flight or ship. It’s a good idea to apply ahead of time, as it can take more than 72 hours for your application to be processed, especially during busy times. Better safe than sorry!
KETA Validity and Entry Guidelines
Once approved, your K-ETA allows for multiple visits to South Korea over the next three years. However, keep in mind that this approval does not automatically guarantee entry.
How Long You Can Stay with K-ETA
While your K-ETA is valid for three years, the length of your stay is determined by your nationality. Make sure you don’t overstay your welcome!
Be Honest When Applying for KETA
It’s super important to provide accurate information when applying for KETA. If mistakes are made or false information is submitted, the application could be denied or canceled. Nobody wants that, right? This rule applies even if you’re applying for someone else.
No Refunds for Denied K-ETA Applications
Just a heads-up. KETA fees are non-refundable, even if your application doesn’t go through. So, make sure you’re ready to apply!
Changed Your Info? Reapply for KETA
If there’s any change in your details—like your name, gender, date of birth, nationality, or even your passport info—you’ll need to reapply for KETA. Don’t forget this step!
Keep Your K-ETA Details Accurate
If your plans change—like your purpose for visiting, where you’ll be staying in Korea, or how to reach you—make sure to update that info on the KETA website before you travel. Ignoring this might lead to some hiccups when you arrive.
Make Your Entry to Korea Smoother with KETA
Good news! With your approval, going through entry will be a breeze. Just remember, this application isn’t valid for activities that make money.
What You Need for Your K-ETA Application
To apply for the Application, you will need the following four items:
- A currently valid passport
- An email address
- A credit card for payment
- A facial photo of the applicant
